A player can upgrade equippable items by interacting with item upgrader NPCs. Each upgrade boosts one stat, and some upgrades can unlock additional stats.

The stats improve with each level, and reach a maximum at level 6. In some instances, an upgraded item may receive a bonus that boosts its value when compared to the unupgraded version.

Recycled Items


Many of the products we use on a daily basis, like paper, glass aluminium, plastics and other materials can be recycled. The player's  upgrade item s are displayed in a box-shaped display which displays all upgrades that the character owns sortable by rarity and level. The user can click an upgrade to see a detailed description of its benefits and stats. This window shows the status of each upgrade item, including ones that aren't linked to a unit.

The EZ Upgrader allows players to find the cheapest cash upgrade fast and quickly. It costs 1 Angel Investors and has no game-related benefits, however it's a great way to view upgrade options without opening the upgrades menu.

To activate the EZ Upgrader, the player must select "Interact" when they interact with the dice outside the restaurant during Preparation Mode. The EZ Upgrader will create blueprints for either appliances or Ingredients. Appliances with a neon blue border have a 0 percent chance of being found in the shop or reroll. However, staple appliances such as the Danger Hob or Power Sink will never be produced. Equipment and Ingredients that aren't part of the Staple Pool, or the non-droppable Pool, will not be produced either by the shop or reroll.

The upgraders for items allow you to change the stats for armor and weapons that are equippable above 385 ilvl. The gear can be upgraded in physical power, spell power, or health. The maximum ilvl for these upgrades is 400, and the cost of upgrading them increases as you progress on the ilvl level track.

To maximize the number upgrade options, players can prepare several Blueprint Cabinets or Copying Desks within a single day. This allows players to add more blueprints to the inventory that the item upgrader produces which will allow for bigger Rerolls. Making copies of multiple cabinets will slow production.

Set bonus

A set bonus is an increase in secondary stats for a set of mods. The strength of the set bonus increases dependent on the number of set mods that are available and excludes duplicates. (For  item upgrades , if the Warframe has both the primary and melee Mods with the Vigilante set's "Enhance critical hits" bonus it will only count for one). However the set bonus cannot be improved through normal fusion.

Certain sets provide several options. The first offers a basic bonus, and the others are by the number of items you wear beyond the basic amount. Fables of the Feywild, for instance, offers a bonus set at two items, and a superior bonus if you wear more.

Players can purchase Benthic equipment from Voidbinder Zorlan in Newhome or Voidbinder Sturzah in Mezzamere for Prismatic Manapearls. These manapearls can be used to upgrade a Benthic item using an upgrader for an increase in ilvl, or to add stats. The upgrader also allows the player to reroll an item with the same stats. The upgrader, unlike enchantments will not apply the same effect over and over. The item used to upgrade the item will remain consumed.
